Simple Past Tense

Yesterday I walk in the park.

Last month I am younger.

Are these sentences correct?

NO. Of course they are not. Using English means that you must use the past tense when you speak about things that you have done already.

Yesterday I went to the market.

Yesterday I walked in the park.

Last month I was younger.

Remember that you need to:
1) Find the verb.
2) Change the verb.
3) Check the spelling.

when you speak or write in the past tense.

Some verbs are easy: all you do is add "ed" to the end of the word. walked

Some verbs are more difficult and you must put 2 of the last letter. stopped
Some are even more difficult and change completely or even stay the same! I am = I was and I hit = I hit.
