Here is this week's Listening Comprehension:


Listen to the song and then answer the questions below:


1)       Name two things that the artist thinks are wrong in the world  today (2)

We have looked at the rhythm of the song in class. See if you can scan some of the remaining lines by yourself.
In preparation for our later essay we need to practice how we write in a formal register:
You need to write a letter to Nickelback in response to their song. You can take a positive or a negative stance on the song and its contents; you must however write in a formal style and tone.
